ROUTE ( ground course): 

The ground course, which will be called “ROUTE” in this manual is the line projected by the airplane on the earth’s surface.

HEADING:

Is the direction of the airplane's longitudinal axis.

ROUTE (real and magnetic):

The real route: 

The real route is the angle as measured between the TRUE NORTH and the ROUTE.

REAL HEADING:

The real heading is the angle as measured CLOCKWISE between the TRUE NORTH and the heading.

MAGNETIC HEADING:

The magnetic heading is the angle as measured CLOCKWISE between the MAGNETIC NORTH and the heading.
