USE YOUR WATCH AS A COMPASS
You can indeed determine all quarters using your watch!
Every day, the sun goes up in the east and goes down in the west. This orbit can be used to determine the south. Once you know where the south is situated, you can determine all other quarters by comparing the sun's orbit with time.
